How long are the plates valid?
The plates are valid for five days. Delivery takes one day, so from the time you get the plates they are valid for four days.
How much does it cost?
The plates cost 185,00 EUR, including everything like insurance and shipment.
Which documents are needed for ordering the plates?
We just need the address where to send the plates to. Documents of the car or the driver are not needed.
When are the plates delivered?
If you order until 2pm (fridays: until 11:30am), the plates will reach you the next business day until 6pm. In the most cases they are delivered even until 12pm on the next business day.
How do I pay?
By credit card.
In which countries is the insurance valid?
Generally in all european countries.
Example of the process:
For example you order the eu-short-term-insurance at 11am, giving us your address for delivery and your credit card details. The costs of 185,00 EUR are charged directly from your credit card. Now we fill out all insurance documents and perform all legal formality at the admission office. Afterwards we send to you all transportation documents, including the registration document, the plates and the green international insurance card, by express delivery. Everything reaches you already on the next business day.
Now you fill in the data of the car that you wish to transfer into the registration documents. You also need to make a copy of the passport of the driver. This is very important for proofing the real driver of the car, e.g. in the case of speeding. Now the driver is allowed to transfer the car into any european country.
